Network Qualification

Networks are systems connecting several computers and peripheral devices. The main purpose of a network is to transport and control data traffic. Whether data are stored on the network servers or elsewhere, a network must provide assurance that data integrity and security have been maintained during the transport and traffic control functions. Data integrity and security are ensured by controlled and properly managed network access and by appropriate security for data stored within the network

Computer systems used in regulated environments must be qualified and validated to demonstrate suitability for their intended use. That means all systems (including networks) used for work regulated by good laboratory practices, good clinical practices, and good manufacturing practices (all can be referenced as GxPs) must be validated

Network infrastructure qualification is a rapidly evolving, multi-faceted practice. As desktops, servers, network services, networks, and data centres continue to evolve, there are consistently reoccurring questions that they continue to be raised during qualification.

Today most of the applications are run on a network connectivity, whether it is SAP , documentum , Trackwise , LIMS , LMS – let it be any enterprise level application the network play a major role to run the systems. Hence now a days auditors are very keen to verify the qualified network of any company. We, Q Tech IT GxP team have hands on experience in qualifying the network infrastructure with all the documentation part required by the regulatory agencies.
